A message from Fiona, Founder of The Yoga Bloc

Hello friend, the fact that you’re here with me already tells me something: you’re seeking ways to deepen your connection with yourself and with others. That’s really what The Yoga Bloc is about.

I first found yoga in 2013, not as a grand spiritual quest, but as a way to balance out my running routine. Over time, the mat became more than just exercise. It became a space where I could slow down, listen in, and move with joy.

In 2018, I took the leap to become a certified teacher, and I’ve kept learning ever since. Most recently I completed a 300-hour training in yoga and meditation, and I am now pursuing Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) at SMU. All of this training has one purpose: to help me share mindfulness, movement, and music with you in a way that feels accessible.

When the world shifted in 2020, I discovered new ways to bring yoga to more people. We hosted live sessions online that invited everyone to move with us, blending mobility-focused practices with yoga. That spirit of creativity shaped The Yoga Bloc, a space for inclusive, movement-led experiences that bring people together in community.

Along the way, I’ve been lucky to collaborate with communities, festivals, and brands that share the same values. As a Legacy Ambassador for Lululemon Singapore, I get to champion mindful movement on an even bigger stage.

But at the heart of it all, it’s simple: I believe yoga is for everyone. My hope is that when you move with me, you’ll not only feel stronger and freer in your body, but also more connected to yourself and the world around you.
